Blanton Named Up & Coming Lawyer by Missouri Lawyers Media
SIKESTON, Missouri – Mark David Blanton, associate, Blanton, Nickell, Collins, Douglas, Hanschen and Peters, LLC, was honored as one of the 2025 Up & Coming Missouri Lawyers by Missouri Lawyers Media on October 9 during a reception at the Missouri Athletic Club in Downtown St. Louis. Lawyers Media annually honors young attorneys who are making a positive difference in the practice of law in Missouri.

Blanton was admitted to The Missouri Bar in September 2019. He is a magna cum laude graduate of the University of Alabama with a double major in economics and journalism and a Spanish minor. He is a graduate of the University of Michigan Law School where he served as Executive Editor of the Technology Law Review and a member of the Michigan Law School International Transactions Clinic. In 2021-2022, he clerked for the Honorable Charles Canaday, Chief Justice of the Florida Supreme Court. He has prior service as an Assistant Attorney General in Missouri. He was recently named as a “One to Watch” by Best Lawyers.
